BABY IANS VSD(Ventricular Septal Defect)SUPPORT GROUP

This is a support group for baby Ian who was diagnosed with VSD(Ventricular Septal Defect) two weeks after his birth.
Baby Ian was born two weeks after his father passed away in a grizzly motor accident and was diagnosed with a heart defect two weeks after his birth.VSD is a new vocabulary that I Habipti his mother has to deal with because before i used to hear people have heart conditions but i did not understand the gravity of what they were going through until i was faced with the same condition through my new born son.I was lucky my sons condition was diagnosed early even though he had been misdiagnosed three times before and thus it is better to treat it early before the condition deteriorates as there is no telling what can happen later.
The reason for this group is to find emotional, moral and financial support to go through this phase as smoothly as possible,.
Baby Ian is currently in hospital under medical supervision so that his condition is monitored and that he is able to be taken care of until such a time that  he is able to undergo surgery.I an running a campaign on indiegogo to raise funds towards his medical expenses and surgery as taking care of him is becoming a full time job and the bills are piling, anyone who has gone through the same experience either directly or indirectly and has some emotional support to offer will also be very appreciated. The amount needed for the surgery is adding up to 76400$ and that is a lot of money to raise by 21st December  that is why i am appealing for your donation, please click on  http://igg.me/p/39825?a=188871&i=shlk and donate any amount as it will be highly appreciated. Please spread the word by tweeting, facebooking or even on myspace to help raise that amount by December 21st.Thank you.

  1. I am definitely on your support team and will forward this as a prayer request on Moms of Faith as well! It looks like God has a special plan for little Ian (Jer 29:11) and I'll be following and praying for you and your family!

  6. My heart just breaks for you, my friend. I'm covering you and your beautiful baby boy in prayer. I know it may not seem like it right now, but all of this tragedy passed through God's hands before it fell in your lap. God knows you are capable of enduring this difficult season and He's growing you through it. In the big picture, something amazing and beautiful will come out of this experience. For now, stay strong in your faith, seek God in everything, and trust Him with the plan He has for you and little Ian.

    Many blessings,
    Rosann
